¹ Includes use of sensory software and kitchen facilities. May not be waived for use of paper ballots.
² For hedonic tests with up to 5 questions per sample. UM faculty are expected to provide at least one student or employee to assist with sample preparation and service.
Fees may be adjusted if a trained panel is required, if testing is more complex than a difference or hedonic test, and if multiple tests are needed.
50% of the fee is expected before the test date; the remainder is expected within 15 days of receipt of the final report.
Checks should be made payable to University of Maine, and please include the invoice number on the check.
